Very interesting, teams appear to be upping their game to play the champs and then are left burned out the next week.

Thanks for posting this.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a team that is playing the Super Bowl Champs.

Maybe our coaches game plan so well that we identify and expose everybody's weaknesses in ways that the next team up can exploit.

I think the Niners win that one actually.

Finally got an article about it...

Beating Seattle is difficult enough, but apparently, winning the game after that is even harder. Since Week 7, NFL teams are 0-8 after playing the Seahawks. It's the ultimate NFL hangover.

This is bad news for the Cardinals, who play Seattle this Sunday. If Arizona were to lose to Seattle and then lose its next game, that would drop the Cardinals to 11-5 and to a possible sixth seed in the NFC playoffs.

Arizona has already been a victim of this streak once: The Cardinals surprisingly lost to the Falcons in Week 13, just one week after playing the Seahawks.

I'll be surprised if the Chargers beat SF this week.

Keenan Allen and Ryan Mathews are out and Rivers is not 100%.
