thats actually pretty insane considering how much time lynch has missed and the more pass happy playcalling

I like the yards per attempt and fumbles only 2 :th2thumbs:

How does Pittsburgh rank so high? 4.9 ypa? I thought Leveon Bell was out.

D. Williams has looked born again backing him up..playing 5 years younger.

Yeah crazy... 2 fumbles in 307 attempts.

But also only 6 TDs in 307 attempts.

Others have answered the Bell question but ill add this:

Bell in like the 5.375 games he started has averaged 104 yards per game rushing.

Williams in the other 4.625 in non Bell games has averaged 108 rushing ypg.

Pittsburgh has a top 5 OL IMO, and probably the best 1-2 WR group in the NFL. And also a top 10 QB. Leveon Bell is basically a slightly more gifted Justin Forsett, he's a smart runner and a great fit for their system, but he's not an elite talent like Lynch, AP, or Murray.

I'm not surprised at all that other RBs have had huge success in that offense. It's the best balanced attack offense in the NFL, and the OL they have is under-rated. I am a little surprised that Williams is having such a great year though. He looks like he's lost a half-step, but he still dominates because the system is so awesome.

Just looking at some Raw stats and rankings. ESPN has us ranked the 2nd best Defense in total stats compared to Pitt which is ranked 26th overall. Against the run it is basically a wash as far as stats go. But against the pass we are 2nd again and they are 28th. So really, everyone here is so worried about us getting gashed. If I were Pitt I would be worrying about them getting gashed. We have a far more mobile QB then them and one who can make big plays. Our WR's and TE can cause just as many problem when you factor in having to stop a dual headed threat in Wilson and Rawls. Plus we are playing in Seattle and the Steelers haven't heard loud like they are going to hear loud. There is a reason Vegas has us favored pretty big. Many things going our way.

People care way too much about how many yards players/teams accumulate.

I look at that chart and I see a whopping SIX touchdowns on the season.

Not good enough.

I also see we are so dead last in redzone offense.

We can't throw for TDs in the redzone, and we can't run for TDs in the redzone.
