The refs ejected Lane 100% on a judgement with no review. They should not have that authority on something so ticky tack that was a retaliation to a facemask takedown.

Completely ridiculous

Looks like the NFL dusted off the referee's game plan for Super Bowl XL, AGAIN!!!

If there should have been ANY ejections it should have been BOTH players involved, but in reality what happened should have been no worse than offsetting personal foul or unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

Things like this is why the NFL has declining ratings of late, people are starting to realize it's turning into Big Time Wrestling with shady officiating.

GO HAWKS!!!

We don't need to worry about the ref's screwing us over. The O Line has that totally under control

Agree with this, but Lane has to be aware he has a rep and he cannot get baited.

Well baiting would be reacting to a taunt, having being taken down by your facemask and rolled on and then accused of throwing a Punch I can't really put on him as reacting.

He did nothing wrong. You, like the refs, weren't paying attention.

Lane has a rep? Who outside of Seattle and his own family has ever heard of him?

Total BS that the refs can eject a key player without warning for a foul that didn't happen. They should not be able to make that call on the fly without review.

I observed this when the refs gave the Superbowl win to the Steelers against the Seahawks, around 1996. There is big money to made in betting on the NFL game of the week, which is what today's game was.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
There was an obvious 'agenda'...not gonna say more than that, but, that was gonna be called on ANY of the Seahawks. Lane just so happened to be the first one to get into just enough of 'nothing' to be the victim of said agenda. Total BS. But, it's yet another reason why we need to address the lack of situational play calling by the guy that wears the Offensive COORDINATOR name tag.
