eh.

the Peyton memes should probably be of the whole bronco's coaching staff, instead. It's not manning's fault that they did a horrible job of preparation and adjusting to the beat-down.

That is what happens when you roll through a creme-puff schedule and buy into the hype that you are all that.

And, yes I know they can only play the schedule they are given but will be interesting to see how they fare this year by comparison playing the NFCW.

Yeah...but the whole deal with Manning is he's the mastermind who makes in-game adjustments and hardly need an offensive coordinator.

Yes, definitely the Broncos coaches get blame for for their defense just being completely unable to stop our offense, but let's face it, if you contain Lynch relatively that's pretty much all you can do. If you don't have the horses on the DL to stop Russ from escaping (and only the Niners, Texans, Panthers, Rams, and AZ sometimes have that), you're going to get Russelled no matter what you do.

...and even if you do have a great DL you still get Russelled, Hawks beat those teams listed and some twice! :)

It's never Peyton’s, he always gets the benefit of doubt.
He gets all the glory but, no blame.

I hope Denver annihilates Santa Clara so we can rethink that NFCC meme that's been popular for the past several months.

Going in, the national mediots weren't talking about the one huge mismatch, Seattle's passing attack against a battered Denver secondary and overall poor pass defense. Then it turned out here were two huge mismatches, with the addition of the Broncos O against our D. Peyton had no adjustments that mattered.

Makes me think a little of the 1980 Miracle On Ice where the Soviets were so surprised to be trailing by a goal in the closing minutes - it NEVER happened to THEM - that their coach didn't even pull their goalkeeper for an extra attacker.

Of course, it's not likely there would have been any in-game adjustments Denver could have made that would have made a rat's ass of difference once the beatdown was on, after Smith's pick six.

There were three mismatches....their #32 kickoff coverage vs. Percy Harvin and Seattle's return team. Mediots didn't talk about that either.

We gave them a bit of training and experience in that realm....maybe they can learn???

Good point!

A couple of clairvoyant local sources mentioned that in their pre-SB coverage.
Turned out to be the nail in the coffin. More like a rapid-fire nail-gun shooing 100 nails in that coffin lid.
