Woolen was a lock, geno even sliding a little the past few weeks deserves a spot too. Diggs feels like a name recognition pick

Diggs? Come on man. Name rec, only.

Geno? Woolen? Myers? SOLID.

Love the love for our kicker. Easy to get lost in the mix but he's rebounded and had a tremendous year. Props.

Also, let's not forget to give love to our alternates. While most* of them (arguably) are starters in our minds, at least they technically made it too:

Jordyn Books
Nick Bellore
Uchenna Nwosu*
Michael Dickson*
Tyler Lockett*
DK Metcalf*

All you had to do was watch Diggs missed and feeble tackle attempt against the Niners last game to know he should never have been on the list.

Diggs must have had some Polaroids of Goodell and a donkey as it's the only thing that could have gotten him selected to the Pro Bowl. It certainly wasn't based on his performance.

PFF, the gold standard when it comes to player evaluations, didn't even list Diggs in their top 25 ranked safeties going into Week 15 even though his teammate, Ryan Neal, was ranked 8th. It just tells you how absurd everything about the Pro Bowl has become. It needs to be abolished.

Yep, he hasn't been nearly up to his previous years. But it's the pro bowl. Means next to nothing. The Pro bowl has been a joke for decades. Getting worked up over a popularity contest? Meh

I'm not getting "worked up" over it, I'm just responding to the comments.

Someone ought to come up with a team composed of the most overpaid players in the league. We'd have the two starting safeties.

Wait til next year where as it stands we will be paying almost 40 million for him and Adams.

Abe started out strong, didn't allow a sack for his first few games. But he seems to have come back down to Earth some. Plus there's that completely inept running game of late, of which he needs to accept some responsibility for, so I can understand him getting snubbed.

QB Geno, CB Woolen, FS Diggs, and K Myers.
diggs? really? he's gotta have the worst run stopping grade of all safeties. he's also dropped about 4 interceptions.
