If any of the other 31 NFL teams agreed he'd no longer be here.

So you are saying that a player that is a healthy scratch every week has no trade value?

My question is, where is his value if he's constantly being a healthy scratch? Depth?

Pete has to validate the pick no matter what.

Another brilliant defensive draft pick right up there with DelameO Hill, Tedric Thompson and Shaquille Griffin

What was wrong with the Shaquille Griffin pick?

I agree accept for Shaquille he’s definitely not in that category, if he was on our team he would still be our best corner imo

I was trying to say it without saying it, but since you said it.....

Yep: it’s Pete’s fault this player is getting beat out in practice by younger and better players? Sometimes the topics here are so biased and and uninformed.

Maybe Collier just isn’t getting it done and the team couldn’t get even peanuts for him.

The best players play. But yeah, our drafting is nothing to be proud of the past 5-6 years.

I think everyone would agree with that except it's yet another wasted high draft pick which is really the source of the frustration.

This is yet another reason to confirm that early draft picks are often highly overrated.

Flat out agree with the frustration regarding early picks. Success with them has been rare and failure the norm. It’s pretty much the the case however all around the league.

Drafting for need usually doesn’t work out welll.

It's no surprise that there is no value for LJ Collier.

Griffin on the other hand is equal to Kelly Jennings. He's gets tight coverage but has very little ball skills. Griffin isn't worth what he got from Jax and they are probably wondering why they offered him that contract. I guess he still would be the best corner on the current Seahawks but that is the sad reality of the CB situation in Seattle currently.

When Carroll drafted Collier, I went straight to YouTube to find his highlights.

I’m still searching for it….

Google is hard. Next time try something super obvious like "L.J. Collier Highlights".

Wow, that juke move against Kansas State (starts at the 2:07 mark): where has that been? He made the left tackle look like a backup NAIA player.

Who wants our bad picks. No one that’s who.
