Wilson couldn't in a thousand years run Holmgren's offense. Ever.
Holmgren had the ability to put together the roster he wanted and he failed at building anything remotely as complete as Pete's. It wasn't as though Pete was just gifted with the players he had. He brought them all here. Holmgren assembled a great offense with plenty of weapons and a qb far better suited to extract it's potential than RW3. He had a near league leading qb, leading rb, outstanding wrs, arguably one of the best o lines in recent league history (2 hall of famers) and the defensive players he chose.
Knox can't be evaluated the same way because he came from the pre FA era. But for as great as he was, he was well known to have little love for the passing game and as such, was hamstrung a bit when it came to winning high scoring games.
Folks won't appreciate what happened here during the PC era until its gone and over.
