No mention of Segura, (though I may have missed it) the 26 year old SS we got in the Arizona deal. Man, what an upgrade at short!

In his rookie year he hit .319, with 20HR, 33SB, and 64RBI. I like this guy already.

He wasnt a rookie last year. It was his 4th year in the league.

I'd love to see the M's somehow acquire Jose Abreu. 1-6 would be a total nightmare.

I'm liking these moves so far. Walker was underwhelming. He may get it and turn into a superstar but at some point you have to say enough. Big upgrade at SS.

He just signed a one year deal with the White Sox to avoid arbitration. I wouldn't mind getting their starting pitcher Jose Quintana though, he is rumored to be on the trade market.

Gosh, baseball season can't come soon enough. I miss doing yard work on the weekends while listening to the Mariners games. I need a break from football

I liked Smith. Thought he was a solid player. Kind of bummed about this trade.

That sucks! I really liked Seth, always a good at bat. For a pitcher with a +5 ERA? Don't like it
YG had a bad year last year but if you look at previous years he has had solid years.I think the M's are going to sign FA bat who will be better than SS.The GM knows what he is doing so far unlike Jackass

Traded Karns for Dyson as well.

Least we should have a good defense next year and an athletic one.

4 years of Karns for one year of Dyson?

Looks like more platoons and no playoffs once again this year.

M's are in win now mode with Cano and Cruz getting older and older. These are good moves. Much quicker team now. But thanks for letting us know M's wont make the playoffs next year. Anything else you can see happening?

Dyson steals bases, segura as well. The Ms slow outfield has been revamped. The all star in feild completed, two project pitchers replaced...how many game lost by Karnes and walker?

Oh we are Goin to the playoffs....

What if Segura has a better year? Nobody asks that question.

Miranda has a future as a starter.

There is a bunch of stories needing to play out.

Dipotos team now..... 100 percent.

Love these moves personally.

Are you a major league pitcher John Paxton?

What improvement can we expect from Gallardo?
He was at Camden Yards and slightly injured.
If not he is a salary purge next time.

The youth movement..

Vogelbach......

Gamel and Heredia........

Seth Smith gone. Lind gone. Lee gone. Gimmicks...one dimensional salary placeholders.

Karns may have 4 years but what good is that when he sucks?

I like these moves. Stealing bases in Safeco is a big deal since hitting homers is hard.

Walker was a new Peterbuilt with a flat tire. Karnes?....see-ya.

The lineup has improved quite a bit now and we're going to have some serious speed on the bases with Segura, Dyson and Martin.

Starting pitching remains questionable with Felix's decline and an aging Iwakuma at the top of the rotation. Could be a big year for Paxton and Miranda. Maybe Gallardo can regain his prior form-3.38 career ERA against AL West opponents at least. Overall some good moves by Dipoto. Could use another power arm or 2 in the bullpen.

The 2017 Mariners will be a speedy, hitting & fielding team. If our starters can improve - a lot - upon last year's performance, we are going to threaten for the division title at long last.

I love the direction Dipoto has taken this team. Hopefully Felix gets back into his #1 starter form.
