The Broncos O inability to score TDs in the third quarter haunts them dating back to last season. This game shouldn't be this close if the Broncos shut the door in the third quarter with a TD drive or two to open the second half.

Broncos D was gassed last season in the 2nd half because Broncos O couldn't sustain drives or score TDs in the third quarter. The same thing is happening so far 2 games into the new season.

Broncos can pull it out if their D make a stop or turnover. But if the Commanders go down and score it will be tough sledding for the Broncos O.
