He'd be worth a 1st, best in the game in my opinion. He's due to get paid after this year though.

Incredible player, but the dude is psycho. Plus, he would want to be the highest paid CB in the league. No thx

We need safety help, not a CB who struggles in zone coverage.

Or are we giving up on Griffin and Flowers 2 games into year 2 of them playing together. . .?

yes please.

How is going back to when we had Sherman a bad thing?

I honestly don't care if someone is a problem or a bad person if they are a great football player.

He could punch someone in the face on the way to the field, so long as he locks down the player he is covering.

If he wants to assault people on the sideline while he takes us to a SB? That is a very fair trade.

The cool thing is that you know John Schneider is probably already on the phone. No stone unturned.

Like Fitzpatrick it depends on the asking price. We could always let him walk in the off-season in return for a likely third round compensatory pick.

That being said, Flowers is coming off an excellent game and Griffin looked pretty good in week 1. It's usually better for the long-term if the team keeps their trade capital for draft day so they can load up on lottery picks. Some of the difficulty we faced in 2016/2017 was self inflicted from trying to go too all-in in previous years and then running into unfortunate but common injury outcomes down the road.

True. The price has to be right! Let see if the front office can work their magic!
