Washington isn't physical enough to beat Oregon. I watched Carey run through tackles all day today. For as much talk as there was about Bishop, Carey arguably had the better game. And he got those yards with a QB that could barely complete a pass. Imagine Mariota back there throwing to Oregon's really good receiving core.

Washington just doesn't have the players on defense to stop Oregon like Stanford does.

Another overlooked fact is Stanford is going to beat up Washington the week before Washington plays Oregon, while Oregon has a bye wee.... I mean plays Colorado in Eugene.

UW fans really don't pay attention at all. UO has had zero problems with hurry up spreads. You all might want to go to the two tight ends with big physical olineman for the UO game. Oh and having a dominant DL would help also.

In all honesty and I'm not trying to be a dick, or trying to be that "cocky Duck fan". But Duck fans are not worried about UW. Nor will we be that impressed when we beat you. I'm sure the team will take them very seriously just as they do every opponent, but we the fans are not concerned with you. You do everything exactly like we do, and you do it not as well. Your new offense fits perfectly into our defensive strengths. We will beat you by 13+ points for the 10th year in a row.

You can keep pounding your chest all you want about "we're back" and "do it against somebody who matters", but to us..... you don't matter. Beating you is getting routine and boring.

Before you go to your standard reply: Yes, I know you beat Stanford last year and we lost to them. Good job.

I kind of view Washington like I have viewed Arizona St the past few years.

That said the season is all about Stanford. They're the team that has the attention of Oregon fans.
