Anyone who thinks Harvin would actually put up good numbers on a "prove it" deal or behave for a whole season has clearly not been paying attention.

1. Harvin would cause problems if he feels he isnt getting enough chances to "prove it".

2. With Harvin's poor attitude and general psychosis there is no way he can go a whole season without giving up or causing problems because he liked it better when he was making 10 times more than hes worth. He made MILLIONS per game played as a Hawk (literally MILLIONS PER GAME) and he even got paid for 2 bye weeks this year and Seahawks playoff earnings despite him being the reason we sucked at the beginning and him getting to sit at home while the hawks played.

Does anyone actually think he will have a positive attitude about playing a WHOLE SEASON for the same amount that he made PER GAME with us?

Oh, and there's also the fact that Harvin is a terrible WR....

Why would NE want him?

Doesn't matter though he's still a Jet as of now

?

Short Option routes to a guy who can fly and run after catch? Physically, seems like he'd be made for that offense in NE.

I highly doubt he'll be a Jet. Can't see him taking a pay cut to stay and I can't see them paying his contract as is.
Pats run a precision offense and Harvin isn't avreal WR and he doesn't run good routes.

Agree to disagree.

Pats run a TON of underneath option routes that rely more on quickness and sync with the QB than anything else. Look at the guys who they've had success with in recent years...Welker, Amendola, Edelman...they are all essentially the same guy. Short. Quick. decent after the catch.

Harvin is that but better.
If Harvin is better how come he's never shown it?

I've never seen a player get hyped by fans so much for doing nothing.

Harvin is the most overrated player in NFL history. No one who has done so little has ever been held so highly by so many ignorant fans.

Every team in the NFL has at least 3 WRs who are better than him. Those 100 guys deserve more praise.

Did he get your sister pregnant and leave town, or maybe he dumped you, he's been gone for a long time and we still have the Harvin hate threads, he isn't in Seattle.

Harvin's a blip on the Seahawks history. Akin to, maybe smaller than, Deion Branch. Him going to the Pats would be apt.

The XLVIII KO return is the only highlight that will endure.

As I've said before, Harvin's behavior and history checks all the boxes for Borderline Personality Disorder with a side of Antisocial Personality Disorder.

However, one thing that kind of personality CAN do is put on a "fool the public" act for a period of time, and be on their best behavior. How long? Anyone's guess. Six months, maybe. One whole season maybe. Or perhaps only 3 months. Harvin will probably have a good first half of the season next year. After that, all bets are off.
