I'd give Kearse and a 3rd rounder for Gordon's rights.

You would give a 3rd rounder for a guy who hasn't played in three years and might never play again?
Interesting choice.

He'll play again and could get reinstated by late September. I wouldn't count on that but would count on him being back by next season. When he plays, he's a proven top tier WR and good in the locker room. Given his PROVEN talent, I'd say it's no more a risk than a guy picked in the late 3rd round who doesn't have a weed problem.

Gordon has proved two things

1) He does have fantastic talent

2) He will get suspended over and over again

The risk to me is not how well he plays on the field - he should have plenty left. The "risk" (and it is almost a foregone conclusion) is that he loves weed more than football and will continue to get suspended for it. Doubt he can come back from the next suspension
