Fire Pete and let Wilson go after his contract is up.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

The Seahawks for years now have steadily declined in consistent offense and top defense.

A few more wins this season, let’s call it, maybe 6-8 total wins with a bottom of the barrel, historically bad defense, doesn’t suddenly make Seattle contenders, especially with Wilson having a pretty significant injury to his throwing hand.

The salary cap is horrible on this team.

You’ve got aging players, a Safety, who can’t cover and is the highest paid safety.

A coach who has no ideas on how to game plan.

A General Manager who is a pawn for the head coach, that also cannot draft well and trades first round picks like they are magic beans.

An increasing competitive division with rivals seemingly improving each year.

Add that all up and you got a recipe for a Seahawks team with the front office personnel as is and with the current players here that trends down for years to come.

It’s time to clean house and have a fire sale.

We need a new front office and a whole entire new crop of players, besides maybe DK Metcalf and Quandre Diggs.

Agree to disagree if you like.

But this is currently not a winning franchise as is.

Also, trade away all draft picks for the next three years for the last picks in the draft. You gotta make sure you eat the ashes after absolutely burning everything down.

Do all that and get set for a whole bunch of 4-13 seasons.

4-13 is not that far off from where the Seahawks are right now.

Injured Wilson. Run game is suspect right now. Defense is historically bad.

Unless Geno is the second coming of Kurt Warner in Arizona, 4-13 seems like a real possibility.

Anyone tired of hearing the coaches and talking heads say it’s just a few adjustments week after week and it just gets worse

I honestly think the media asking them what’s going on and how to fix it is also aware of what Carroll says and doesn’t believe Carroll either.

Carroll is a clown. No one with any football knowledge is drinking his Kool-Aid.

Yep, everyone who doesn't agree with your superior "football knowledge" is an idiot.

Frankly Carroll has likely forgotten more "football knowledge" than exists collectively on this site.

He's certainly not perfect but the team could do a whole lot worse than they have with him. Blowing things up is a short sighted and ham handed solution to problems that really just need adjustments to scheme, they are bigger than just a few adjustments though. The D has shown it can adjust with a few changes but then reverts to it's demonstrated weakness in form. The DC is the guy who should be front and centre in terms of responsibility for this, but it's just easier to blame Carroll as the buck needs to stop somewhere.

The team has the bodies here to rush the passer but they are not succeeding, the pass coverage looks to be a series of misconnects in terms of who is responsible for what and when. Pete's biggest flaw is staying with those who are failing at doing their job acceptably. The run D is catastrophic in their ability to actually tackle the runner or for the DLinemen to stay in their gaps. The middle zone pass D is always available to any opponent and has been now for more than a season. What is the DC doing to fix his unit?

The defensive coaching including that of Carroll has failed to adjust and until there is significant change the D will continue it's demonstrable futility. The team has likely the best rover defensive player in the NFL but he is misemployed playing deep S. Forcing players to take responsibility for their job needs to happen or the season will slip away and the D will be exposed as truly being one the worst ever of all time.

At this point Carroll needs to find some answers quickly.

I think more than scheme and there are ALWAYS scheme adjustments to be made constantly, its execution... the Hawks are really young at some positions on D and I think Carroll just made the decision to play these guys because it's really not anything else besides getting experience... right now they are just taking their lumps but as the season progresses it will get better but your right it needs to happen soon...
