I think you're right. If his salary was guaranteed (which as vet it should be) and he is released can't another team sign him for vet minimum after clearing waivers? Wouldn't that be less than $775k for 7 games?

I believe the $775k is minimum for season so it would be pro-rated based on that

Guessing we wouldn't tryout Maxwell if we didn't have the ability to sign him. Was sad to see him go and as of right now would welcome him back with open arms.

Lets not pretend he is the same guy that he was when he left here. He's going to be asked to likely be the top CB here now. It didn't work out that well for him when he left. Perhaps it was the scheme or something they asked him to play in. Hoping he can at least be competitive.

Maxwell got a bad reputation for the way he played in philly. He was pretty good under the radar for the phins though last year. Hope they sign him back ive always wanted to see him back in seattle.

Slot guys have to work in traffic and make a lot of reads, they get chipped and ran into others, ya know the player pick plays are designed to break someone open, he does a great job most times, everyone gets burned sometimes, after all the guys on the other side are not High School players . His percentage of defensed passes is very high as well.
