Those are tires I would rather not kick but we are thin.

I think you're right. If his salary was guaranteed (which as vet it should be) and he is released can't another team sign him for vet minimum after clearing waivers? Wouldn't that be less than $775k for 7 games?

I mean we can convert Brian Russell to play Corner.
Maxwell got a bad reputation for the way he played in philly. He was pretty good under the radar for the phins though last year. Hope they sign him back ive always wanted to see him back in seattle.Seahawkwalt1967":1jg9qtu0 said:Trovon Reed

This is exactly what needs to happen. Maybe even sign revis for the slot or a dime back.Hawksfan78":opge4qgl said:Sign maxi, move Shaquill to left, put max at right. Let Coleman and lane rotate in at nickel
Hawk_Nation":1l9qadab said:In a perfect world, we could sign Max to a 2 year deal. A vet minimum $775k deal this year, and a modest salary for next year. Let him and Lane duke it out the rest of the season and move forward with the best option. Shead potentially could be gone next season, so we need options.
Hopefully Sherm is back by week one next year, but extra depth is always nice.
