I assume this was because another tight end on the roster got healthy or got a better prognosis than they thought.

Pericardial effusion can be very serious. All the best Luke.

Willson was a good team guy and always stayed true to Pete's rules. He was somewhat quirky but became a reasonable backup blocking TE by the end of his career.

I wish him good luck and success as he moves forward with the rest of his life.

That what I love about Luke, no hiding or beating around the bush. He gets sick, and let's everyone know what's going on, which is great for other people that have experienced that themselves, or with a family member.

Did we ever find out what happened to 2013 MikeRob? In the end, it was a great story. He got sick, lost a lot of weight, got better and put weight back on, and won a SuperB Owl!

Pericardial effusion (per-e-KAHR-dee-ul uh-FU-zhun) is the buildup of excess fluid in the sac-like structure around the heart (pericardium).

Pericardial effusion puts pressure on the heart, affecting the heart's function. If untreated, it can lead to heart failure or death.
