i hate the ravens. we are going there and they are very tough to beat at home.

They just lost the best wide receiver in the league that was SOLELY responsible for all of their wins over the last three seasons to the niners. :sarcasm_off:

Overall, I really like this schedule. We've had far rougher schedules the past few years than this one, at least up front on paper. There are far fewer things to worry about this year than last year or the year before. Love the prime time games--Seahawks usually do quite well in them. Love the middle-of-the-season break. The bye comes at a really good time. Love the second half of the season. Looks to be far easier, which means we'll have an easier time either maintaining a lead in the division, or closing the gap for the best record in the division or the conference. Lot to love there.

Sure, there are three early games, and a few tough opponents, but that's going to happen every single time, and all over the league. Overall, I love it! Plus, Pittsburgh at home for the first time in almost forever? The gods have smiled upon this team for sure!

I do hate the fact that we will be breaking in new starters at center and LG against arguably the toughest interior DL in the league, headlined by the unblockable Aaron Donald. Trial by fire.

:snack:

I'm excited we play Hawks at home week one - I wanted a division opener at home.

However, your comment applies both ways - Rams are playing first game with a new QB and probably new players on the OL as well (we don't even know who our center will be yet) - against the Hawks top Defense. Trial by fire as well.

Can't wait! Might even have to get to STL for this one.

Games at Lambaugh and Soldier Field without the bone-chilling temps.

Love it.
Actually you would have matched up better against the Packers in Cold whether... Now you have to deal with defending Rodgers and Lacy.... And unlike at the Link the crowd will be deafening when your offense is trying to call plays....

My wife and I go to an away game for our anniversary (9/15). It's usually week one or two. Last year we went to San Diego and had a great time, despite an unusual heatwave (every local kept saying it's never this hot here! Apologetic that they didn't have the famous 70 degree days).

St. Louis this year! I'm glad it's a city I've never been to as an adult. Based on the old National Lampoon Vacation movie, I'll be sure to get a motel in East St. Louis for some culture.

East is different then the west side. We stayed at both on the way to and back from a work situation. Go up in the arch...it is an experience. We also went to Union Station. It was interesting. A few lounges cater to colleges like College of St Louis. I met some people from other nations there. As I said.....INTERESTING. Have fun.

Go hawks

There are several fun things to do there to make a weekend of it. The paddle boat ride they have on the river by the arch is also good (it has a bar) - even though it was raining both times I went on it has always been interesting.

I like to stay in a hotel close to the Dome so that it's easy to walk to the game. Plus, you will be by other Hawk fans in those hotels. I always meet more of the opposing team fans when I am there for a game. There are several good ones close.

You can also walk over to the Four Seasons/Casino they have right by the stadium as well, and the brewery / Cards village park is close.

As much as I complain about STL, it can be a f;un weekend. :)

I'm sure the STL Rams fans can share more....

Have fun! Go Rams Week One!

Lambaugh field never gets deafening. I'm sure they'll "try" to get loud on third downs, but it still won't be deafening. All those 70 year olds tend to sit quietly. Plus, they won't have many reasons to get loud because they'll be down by two scores by the end of the first quarter.

Not in love with opening against the Rams with a Offenisve Line that has some question marks. At the same time I guess our line always has question marks.

Lately, we seem to struggle with our first game.....especially our Offense.

It may be the fifth loudest stadium, but they are only loud in spurts. They're usually a little loud on third down, but they don't disrupt a game like Seahawk fans do. I'd bet that the third loudest through the twenty-fifth loudest stadiums are close to the same and a far cry down the decibel scale from first and second.

Lately? in 2014 you beat the Packers 36 - 16. The Rams lost to the Vikes 34 - 6.

in 2013 you beat the Panthers 12-7. Rams beat the Cards 27-24.

Not sure how you define lately, but you have won both of the last two years even if you struggled against the Panthers, you did not againts the Packers. Rams played bad both years and barely beat the Cards - rough first games.

I really like this schedule, far better than I was expecting, as others have said the bye week and prime time games are perfect.

I also like the two opening away games, both limit the away game disadvantage somewhat as week 1 they will be pumped and week 2 the same but due to their last encounter. If we can go 2-0 in those games we will be laughing. I'd even take 1-1 to be honest!

It's the last 8 games that we will really seperate ourselves.

Seahawks to the east 1:00 east coast time it will never change :229031_banghead: Things can be done to fix that. You could easily change our game to 4 when going to cincy and st louis and not miss a beat. We always come out flat and have slow starts.

Any idea when the single game tickets for the home opener will become available?

But those three 10am starts are not on the east coast but the midwest, which is better.
