Our run game is trash

Charbs is a FB. He's more of a Mack Strong than a Michael Robinson, but he is a FB.

We use him as a RB because nobody uses FBs anymore.

As a receiving threat, he's actually solid.
As a short yardage back, great for power...quickness is below average but he should get you 1-2 yds with competent blocking.
As a RB? He's going to get you 3 yds. Maybe 12-20 on a long run, but those are rare.


Nothing wrong with him as a FB, but using him as RB probably isn't a great plan.

I stand corrected. This run game absolutely IS trash. I love how KJ described this running game, they need to be threatening and creative. They are neither.

Seattle needs a new offensive line in addition to 5-6 new starters on defense.
Good thing they're not in cap hell with a couple of overage , underperforming safeties.

The Seahawks rushing attack is limited. Walker has elite speed and he can make people miss at speed and in space. He's a home-run threat. He's not a Barry Bonds home-run threat but he's good for some breakaway TDs every season. Unfortunately he's a poor blocker and his receiving skills are poor. He's a threat once he's got the ball in his hands but he's not someone you can put in the slot. He's not going to run a timing route, create separation, or catch the ball over his shoulder or downfield. He's a weapon, but he's limited.

Charbonnet is just a guy. He can block a bit and catch a bit but he lacks speed to the outside, breakaway speed, a move to make defenders miss, and he doesn't break tackles. He's a solid #3 or #4 RB in the rotation. The RB position needs an upgrade.
