Packers are releasing DT Mike Daniels

This is a stunning move as teams open training camp. Daniels turned 30 this offseason and was coming off a 2018 that saw him miss the final six games with a foot injury. But there had been no word he was in danger of losing his job. There was a report the Packers planned to scale back Daniels' snaps due to a better supporting cast, but he made the Pro Bowl in 2017 and was a major piece of this defense.

If healthy should Seahawks jump on this? Being reported we have about 19m in true cap space and even with Bobby extension should gain money this season.

FWIW, Marshawn hated Pete in college. Things can easily change if money's on the line.
