I damn sure hope he was irritated. Can anyone think of a more embarrassing or inexcusable loss in the Pete Carroll Era? At least when Tampa Bay beat us it was on the road.

If yesterday's performance didn't light a fire under his ass, he needs to hang up the headset.

Good, everybody should be pissed off after that shitshow and him especially. That whole first half had his fingprints all over it.

Pete needs to Fire Cable who is getting Head Coach money for brown nosing.

The guy is useless! He continues to get resources, yet underperforms with the worst offensive line in the nfl.

Pete asked him to talk to Ifedi and Cable said "Ive already talked to him" Can this guy already, and hire somebody young and hungry!

We're catching up with the 2011 Raiders in penalties? Wasn't he their coach just prior to that?

He also turned a DT and a basketball power forward into viable NFL starters on the fly . . . because there was no other option provided.

Let's give him more than a week to see what he can do with a legit LT.

As far as Carroll looking irritated, he has been more fiery in previous press conferences.

There is one weaselly reporter in particular (no names) who always seems to get under his skin.

Another revisionist at work.

Cable happened to let Jahri Evans go just last year who went on to start and play well for the Saints and was only making $1.065 million here. He now is starting for the Packers. This was not a money issue at that price, this was piss poor talent eval like he shows again, and again, and again.
Nice he has members of his fan club here to defend him with lies and rhetotic though.

Pete needs to be fiery at himself, most of the habitual mistakes we keep seeing week after week with the penalties and lack of focus mistakes like false starts rest on his shoulders.

Are you aware that Jahri Evans is a guard, not a LT?

For whatever reason, the front office was hesitant to sign aging veterans at that time.

The DT was converted to Guard. Look it up. That and your crap excuse was "none available" generic statement about oline in general is BS.

Who the hell are you talking about? I am talking about J.R. Sweezy . . . the DT who started for four years as a viable guard.

The "whatever issue" is obviously Cable thought we could do as well or better with what we had. Nice attempt to push the blame away from "your guy" though.

Duh. I said he was converted to guard. Obviously that is Sweezy.

No, that is your empty-headed speculation.

The front office makes the decisions on free agent acquisitions, balancing need with money available. At that time, they weren't signing any aged veterans, and I'm not sure why. We have seen since then with Reece and Freeney that those signings can pay off big time.

Then your sense of time is all screwed up. Sweezy was already gone by the time Evans was available.

Nope, it's yours that is screwed up. Sweezy left last year and Evans could have replaced him at $1M per season.

Cable passed and you make excuses every chance you get. I dispute the "none available" excuse that Tom taught you.

OK, I see your problem now. Sweezy (a 7th round former DT) started at guard because we had no one else better. Fant (an undrafted basketball player) started at tackle because we had no one else better. Those are the players I was referring to.

Evans has NOTHING to do with having to develop on the fly either of these players I was citing. Sweezy was already gone, and Fant plays an entirely different position than Evans. This is the flaw in your logic that you don't seem capable of comprehending.

We don't know what went into not keeping Evans, only that the team made the decision, and the front office has ultimate say over cap issues.

LMAO. My empty headed speculation?

WE SIGNED HIM TO A DEAL DUDE!!! He was here in camp!

Then we cut him. Your buddy Tom cut him. This was not a money issue, stop with the hole digging.

They did the same thing with Marcel Reece this year. Do you speculate that Tom Cable is to blame for that too (without any insider information)?

Like with Reece, I think it's more likely the front office was trying to save money by preventing Evans' veteran salary from becoming fully guaranteed. In the case of Evans, he was swooped up by another team.

It's hard trying to have a discussion with someone who claims to know things definitively when he knows nothing.
