He is a good center and will be cut go to a team that needs a center and excel. In the football world, it is always a joke that the center never blocks anyone and on a lot of plays that is true. Britt looks good at center because he doesn't have to block on every single passing play, Poccic is the same way.

Yes. It was costly.

How many times did 1st downs get wiped out by holding?

Ifedi was responsible for 1
Pocic had 2
Sweezy had 1 plus he also had 1 that was a drive killer in the 2nd qtr.

Not really defending Pocic, who isn't an NFL guard - but that cut down guy from the Raiders has played excellently.

Pocic either needs to stay at center, or suddenly develop as a tackle for versatility - because he isn't proving to have capability as a guard at this level.

I'm glad nobody put you in charge of the careers of Germain Ifedi or Justin Britt.

One game off the bench against one of the league's best defensive tackles. Of course he's going to struggle.

Agreed. Guy deserves more time.

I've been really impressed with Britt this season. The guy is a monster out there and you can tell Russ has really developed some trust in his ability to help keep him safe.

Maybe. But Pocic hasn't been getting actual playing time under Solari yet, either, and being benched in favor of a Pro Bowl-caliber player like DJ Fluker isn't an indictment of him.

The legend of George Fant on this site continues. He is HOT garbage when he has to play tackle every play.

He excels as a gimmick linemen. He needs to continue to be a TE with a linemen's number to cause formation mismatches.

Fluker should be back, and it sounds like Simmons injury isn't that bad. So we shouldn't have to see Pocic again until.................hopefully ever.
