According to the Bee, McDonald was having a birthday party that stretched into Sunday morning. When police arrived at 2 a.m., officers said she showed them she was bruised by McDonald. That's when he was arrested.

At least we can be thankful that the total mishandling of the Rice situation will have forced Goodell's hand in taking a tougher stance on stuff like this.

If the allegations are true my preference would be to cut him, but in the very least he'll get six games, and not the slap on the wrist of two.

The fact that Goodell just put in the clause about Pregnant women less then a week ago already elevates this. At this point, with his poor handling of the Rice situation, he has to be inclined to move swiftly on it. Once CNN gets coverage of this, all eyes will be on Goodell. Theres no way he lets this play out before taking action.

Lets put it this way...if she looks like Christy Mack right now then I want him in an electric chair. If she has a few bruises on her wrist because he held her arm too tightly.....meh.

I want the facts before passing judgment. Not OK regardless...but I've seen a bruise because the woman took a swing and hurt herself when he blocked turn into an arrest that SHE couldn't prevent. Cops don't mess around because victims of domestic abuse tend to backtrack. Cops will take very small issues and make arrests because they are protecting the victims not only from the person committing the crime, but from the victims themselves.

So...as I said, I want to see the facts.
