I’m not saying Wilson doesn’t have flaws in his game. I’m not even saying having a great run game doesn’t help. Of course it does. A running game is also helped by a smart accurate QB

But good grief, can we please...please...Please? At least agree on facts. Like the fact that our QB had pathetic protection for the last two or three years.

I get that for some Russ will always have to prove something. Average defense? Let’s credit the run game. Average run game? Let’s credit the defense. He’ll have to exceed in extremely average conditions to get consensus credit.


But we should, at least, be able to admit the O-line was terrible. And suggesting we can never be a pass first offense based on evidence from the last two years is really, really silly given the conditions.

He'll have a hard time beating Brady's win total next year (Possible) but should easily beat Mannings record the following year.

11-5 will tie him with Brady. 12-4 will give him that one outright. After 10-6 in a "rebuilding" year, it's probably not as hard as one might think.
