Scruggs has been logging A LOT of snaps. More so than McDaniel and Williams, in fact. However, Scruggs is playing all 3 of the heavy positions on early downs (1,3,5) while also playing a lot of nickel DT.

We've had to rely on him and I think he's outplayed basically everyone along the interior spots with the exception of Bane and McD. He got healthy at just the right time and has delivered.

I hate to spoil the joke here but tech in the case of D lineman means technique, not technology. Technique has nothing to do with computers.

I think Scruggs is really good, but not that good. He's trending medium in a positive but restrained sort of way. I bet he'd be better if he made more big plays, but I don't want to sound like I'm reaching.
