Really hard to do this without knowing who is on the board, but I slightly lean defensive. Pass catcher is a big need, though. We need a WR.

On offense, the only position I could see them going is WR.
Why not OL? Duane Brown and Justin Britt could both be out in 2020. Ifedi's fifth year option could cost $10 mil, Fluker has had problems staying healthy, and Iupati is on a one year contract. We may look OK right now but drafting youth at OL is one of our biggest needs looking forwards.

To me, so long that our front office address the following area:

Pass rush
Receiving Corp.,
DBs
OL

In that order.

Is Frank Clark and pick 21 to the Jets enough to get it done?

He's very seahawky. 30 spots early also fits.

I hope they go Savage first, then WR, then play the DL strength later with Gaines and Jelks.

The title to this is: " Seahawks first pick,You make the call " you CAN have them trading forward or back thats up to you. When I made my selection, I was thinking to myself about a player they really want yet either take him at 21 or lose him.

Trading back when we only have 4 picks makes scene in our scenario.

Cheers

Hawks 21 and 159 , to Az for 33 & 65 taking DT , Jeffery Simmons or Dexter Lawrance, then maybe trade 84 to Dallas for 90 & 136

giving us , 2nd (33)
3rd (65)
3rd (90)
4th (124)
4th (136)

I'm going wild card because the Seahawks never do what we think they will do and I'll say Parris Campbell is on the team this year.

I would think it has to be defense now, but for the sake of this thread, if they trade down from 21 passed 29, does 21 become their first pick or do we still count what they use the picks they get for 21?

There are supposedly 10-12 O linemen with first round talent and next years crop is bad. We need to stock OL and trade down with one of the first rounders to get a edge or DT and WR or CB.

I know the Hawks pick from the senior bowl and guys they had in for a visit. I predict some guy like Montez Sweat will be available at twenty one and get us a minnie bidding war. After that kings ransom, we will stay put at 29 and select S Darnell Savage. Everyone will say we reached. We had him in for a visit. Several teams want him.

OR......

Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson: A mountain in the middle at 6-4 and 342 pounds, Lawrence commands double teams and pushes the pocket when he's dialed in. (Fat guys that can move)
