poor Wilson, he squeezed himself out of Seattle, out of DK, Lockett, and uncle Will.

Don't cry for Wilson. He went to a team that, by his own estimation, he "won't need to carry."

And Garrett Bolles told him "[y]ou're not going to get hit here."

There was a reason he vetoed trades to the Commanders and Eagles, but accepted the trade to the Broncos. He wanted to win more championships, and figures he'll play another ten years or so and win another three or four Super Bowls with Denver.

Sounds to me like Jeudy ("can't handle constructive criticism", according to Smith) has a lot in common with his quarterback.

I mean, there are differences, of course. According to Smith, Jeudy has played like "just a guy," the Broncos used a first-round pick on him, and they'll move on from him. Wilson's performance has indeed been at "just-a-guy" levels this year overall (but not last night, which looked a lot like the 2022 season), but the Broncos used two first-round picks plus two second-round picks on Wilson.

If Jeudy was in Seattle, unless there was an injury, I doubt he'd see the field.
Richard Sherman said on the TNF broadcast, that Broncos receivers aren't getting separation vs man to man coverage, and receivers who can't do that, well, other teams aren't interested in trading for them. Agreed, Jeudy was rather unimpressive.

KC's DC came in with a solid plan that frustrated Russell. He'll see more M-M coverage the remaining games he plays because he's not as big a threat to run as he used to be. KC knew that Russell hates to throw to even somewhat covered receivers, and wants them to be nearly wide-open before he'll throw it. It's yet another "book" on how to play Russell Wilson, on top of the 2-High Shell coverages that he has trouble with, because they take away his outside-the-numbers deep shots that WERE his bread and butter at one point.

I think Payton and the OC bear a lot of responsibility here also; the scheme needs to help Russell out by creating more open receivers.

But how does Payton do this with #3? He is a shell of him self. His strength was the
RB keeper option or at least the threat of it. His other "strength" was scrambling to throw a hero ball which isn't in his arsenal at this point. He's a short, out of shape QB
Who doesn't have the support of the Legion or Marshawn Lynch .

He's cooked

Still are. It's just that the bread is moldy and the butter rancid.

Jeudy's a great athlete, but can't run a route to save his life. He'll be a JAG when his rookie deal is up next year. Will he be humbled enough to invest learning his craft? Who knows?

Sutton is not as athletic, but big and knows how to use his body. I can see him have an Anquan Boldin-type career, but Wilson only wants to throw it to people who are wide open.

It'd be interesting to see how he did with another qb. Not saying he's all star but the qb hasn't given these guys much of a chance. Remember how excited these guys were when they landed dangerwich??
