It's a statistical fact the Seahawks are one of the older teams in the league.

Yes, but actual fans of the team can see that there is an ascendant young nucleus and most of its stars are rising young players, which is why the team is seen as young despite a completely-devoid-of-context average age statistic (in which most teams are like within half a year of each other anyway).

Being this obtuse to fit your agenda doesn't work. People see through it, which is why the replies to your threads are basically now nothing but pages upon pages of constant dunking.

Funny how that works.

Anybody that has spent time around sports know that when people say "it's a young team", they are talking about experience....not age. Age is an irrelevant statistic. A player isn't better just because they are a year or 2 older than another player.

And FFS, what does it really matter anyway? Are you really that much of a Debby-Downer that you feel the need to start a thread over a couple of years of age difference? Even the dumbest person in football knowledge can see this is not a team made up of veteran players.

3K views and 100+ replies. Think of them as tickles for someone who likes to be tickled.

it's like a joker mentality...just not involving murder and mahem.

People use the youth excuse in every sport, but especially college football. It's funny how it doesn't apply to teams like Alabama though. Sometimes it's a legitimate excuse. Usually it's drafting, development, and coaching.
Brock Huard has called UW young for the past 15 years

which sounds pretty............YOUNG
Quite a few VERY YOUNG players on the regular rotation. I'm not buying the old team just because some vets like Bruce, Al Woods etc. make the number look way older than they really are.

Yeah but if you're false narrative is that the head coach sucks cause he's failed at infusing the roster with young talent during a "rebuild," then it sounds pretty bad doesn't it?
