Sometimes I wonder if they should move their training camp back to Cheney. Or at least have a few weeks of joint practices with another franchise. They weren’t ready to play and it showed. It’ll be just like them to go out and beat the Lions next week but I doubt it

This has nothing to do with being ready. The Rams never play any of their starters in pre-season either, and they sure looked ready yesterday.

This is about a HC and his staff that thinks it's still 2012 and they can dictate what they want to do on both sides of the ball and force the other team to their wills, instead of coming up with actual cohesive gameplans and schemes based on their opponents strengths and weaknesses.

How else can you explain the evergreen Groundhog Day starts of seasons slow and out of sync in all phases.

Our free agents were underwhelming, but that's par for the course in the NFL where players are overpaid once they are hit free agency.

The glaring problem yesterday was that we did not get enough from our players on rookie contracts. Ideally, our last four draft classes would see a lot of action and play well (green in both columns).

Cross and Lucas continue to be bright spots but both went out with injury. Woolen and Mafe were key contributors on defense. Beyond that we had a lot of players who didn't contribute enough, and those who did contribute didn't do so particularly well.

There's still plenty of season left to go but in order to win next week we will need much more out of these players.
