What Earl did well though, is make our corners look better than they were.

Yes, he blew coverages. But then so do our corners.

Except he did it sporadically and our corners do it regularly.

Honestly, could care less if he is nailing his brother on the sidelines between drives. Or flipping Carroll off from the coin flip to the end of the 4th quarter...he would help this team because he can help the coverage.

The fact that Earl got cut over a month ago and no one's signed him yet says three things;

1. He's indeed the locker room cancer we thought he was here.
2. He still is delusional about his skill level and wants a starting FS job.
3. His asking price is too high.

So for anyone that thinks Earl's going to sign a cheap vet minimum deal, come back to Seattle to be a role playing slot corner..............you're delusional.

After Sunday I am thinking the team with the secondary that Russ just torched may be more interested to "come get him"

I'm on the fence about this.

From on side, my gut reaction would be to say "No".

Looking at it from another perspective, I would have to say "Hell No".

a big NO for me. Even though we have some issues on the defensive side, I feel like the group is really tight and I would not disrupt that locker room energy

Falcons......450 passing yards
Patriots......400 passing yards
Cowboys....470 passing yards

The team with the worst passing defense in the NFL......the Seattle Seahawks

If not Earl Thomas, then what???? who????

Falcons = Seahawk win
Patriots = Seahawk win
Cowboys = Seahawk win

Statistics do not determine the winners.

When you are giving up an average of 440 passing yards/game.....that locker room energy needs disruption....IMO

No thanks on ET. Definitely one of my favorite Hawks pre "F&%# You" moment.

We don't need him badly enough to be the team that "turns him around".

3 Teams with Top tier Offenses.. probably the best offenses outside of our own. That’s one hell of a gauntlet to go through and come out on top.

We would be better off trading the Jets back for Bradley.

GB, BAL and KC say "hello". Fortunately we don't play any of them this year in the regular season.

We need some help all over the place on D. We should look and see if Earl would be willing to come back.

Earl is well past his prime. 2 leg breaks in 3 years will do that when you’re on the wrong side of 30 and play that type of position.

He played very well with the Ravens last year, so he probably has another season left in the tank. That said, flipping off your coach on national TV sealed off any possible return to Seattle as a player. We'll see him in 20 years when he goes into the ring of fame.

As much as I'd love some help for our rotten D, I'd have to disagree with this one. It's Jamal's secondary now. I'd rather concentrate on our D-line. What's Cortez doin' these days?
