Christian French has a shot to be a player, he started to come on late in his JR year and then as a SR, but broke his hand. 6'5 255 and good length. Was a Army AA coming out of HS who started as a TE. Really Pellums horrible D didn't make it easy on him to make the smoothest of transitions, but he did get marketabley from SO year to SR year.

Any news about McEvoy would love to see him in Seattle or really just get a shot anywhere his natural ability is insane.

GREAT Athlete. The more you can do. Monster Safety? WR? TE? OLB? Dang... PERFECT landing spot for him. Seahawks could do some really cool creative things with McEvoy and others they've acquired. There will be cuts, but a lot of these signings are not going to make those easy.

As a Rutgers alum here less than 5 miles from campus, I've watched Longa pretty much in every game and he needs one extra step of speed to make this roster....he seems to have gotten too big in the legs and lost his speed he held as an underclassman.....if he can get healthy (he played through a LOT of nicks and bumps to stay on the field at RU), he should be no worse than Kevin Pierre Louis.....

Longa can play outside and is not shy about contact.....I don't think he'll make the roster unless he completely empties the tank and beats out Brock Coyle or fits that role.....

We weren't messing around with Boykin apparently

15K bonus for an UDFA is a pretty big number. Also think that all but rules out VA3

Anyone else stoke about getting Boykin? I hadnt really seriously looked into him but his hand size is ok, about the same as rodgers and from the film I am currently watching when he is actually in the pocket he seems to have really good touch and accuracy on his throws.

HELL YEAH!!! I kept predicting we were going to draft Perkins since the 5th round and was disappointed every time we selected someone else. From his highlights he looks to have Bruce Irvin type of athleticism and he looks like a legit player to get after the QB.

OK...I'm impressed.

Almost better than our draft. Im playing slow down. Luv Perkins boykins. On the real for real I like them better than the 7th rounders. This rounds out the draft real nice for me im content.

It's almost not fair how good the Hawks are during UDFA and this might be the best class they've put together! WOWOWOW

So excited we got Fant! I really hope he sticks around. Let him hone his craft over time on the PS. Still can't believe they got him!

Lol. Though some might be tempted think so, not quite the same player. McEvoy is a much more polished and rangy player who can play the "skilled" positions. Konz was more of a tough guy athletic specimen.

Yes, some of them are tryouts. But, why would the number be too high? Are there roster limit rules this time of year?
