Here is how each D coordinator handled the motion and misdirection on offense:
Raheem Morris: Play the WRs tight and let the Rams front seven loose against Waldron's offense. Especially when the Hawks lost both tackles.
Flores: Play aggressive bear fronts against Canales misdirection and naked bootlegs that Mayfield was running.
Bowles: O'Connel was trying to run the ball and generate a passing game from bootlegs but the Bucs LBs like White and Shaq were there to stop it like the Vikes. Lots of A gap blitzes, and DB blitzes (eg Winfield strip sack).
Hurtt: Super soft zone do not disrupt the WRs at all, no tight coverage, no pass rush, not even trying to blitz Stafford.
The several times the Bucs played super soft zone Jefferson and Addison burned them bad. Bowles came to his senses and made adjustments at half time.
Hurtt made no adjustments even in the 2nd half. When Nacua looks just as good as an elite WR like Jefferson that is a bad, bad sign.
