It wasn't even a remotely competitive game in the 2nd half. The Seahawks got humiliated to the point of emasculation.

It's one thing to lose. It's a whole different thing to be completely and totally dominated.

Seahawks think they are in still preseason. Really bad effort by the defense throughout the game (especially the pass defense) and offense mailed it in after the first half.

They lost Lucas and Cross... the starting RT and LT... kind of KEY pieces of your Oline.

It's not the players. They brought in upgrades and still crapped the bed completely, exposing the schemes on both sides of the ball. You could have all pros at every position and they'd still get trounced with these schemes.

The pass rush was terrible. Granted they did well against the run in the 1st half but on obvious passing downs they were like children getting escorted down the hall by a teacher.

I will say the secondary looked to press more at the start and then faded back into that all too familiar 7-10 yard cushion and keep everything in front of you unit (while we were multiple scores down in the 2nd half).

I have hope that they will learn from this and excel, but if they don’t… We’re in for one long f’n season fellas

These guys are supposed to be pros. Geno flat missed Bobo streaking down in the middle of the field on one play. Ken Walker was running the ball well. Should have kept giving him the ball instead of throwing 40 yard bombs on 3 and 4. That was a pivotal turning point of the game. They were down only 17-13 at that point I believe. They had 12 yards of offense in the second half. That is unacceptable.

I get that they lost their starting tackles on the same play, but damn, adjust a bit. Do something ffs.

12 yards in the 2nd half is inexcusable no matter how many lineman you lose.

Just a disastrous start and I'm honestly surprised by the lack of physicality on defense.

This isn't the return of the LOB by a long shot.

I know some key guys are missing, but I can only judge the team on the field. And right now, they need to man up.

I guess you could look at it that way but the thing is they lost both starting tackles. They could not protect Geno he was running for his life. Look at the TOP IN THE 2ND HALF. No D could defend that. Yet they only gave up 92 yards on the ground. Some times you just have to give the other team credit and forget about this week.

It was a tough loss there are a lot of expectations for this team people are bummed I get that but it'd going to be ok...they will bounce back.

Or you can just give up and throw the whole season in the toilet now..then, when they make their run you can look back and see how you over reacted. I get it man it hurts.. but it's going to be OK trust me it is...

Here is how each D coordinator handled the motion and misdirection on offense:

Raheem Morris: Play the WRs tight and let the Rams front seven loose against Waldron's offense. Especially when the Hawks lost both tackles.

Flores: Play aggressive bear fronts against Canales misdirection and naked bootlegs that Mayfield was running.

Bowles: O'Connel was trying to run the ball and generate a passing game from bootlegs but the Bucs LBs like White and Shaq were there to stop it like the Vikes. Lots of A gap blitzes, and DB blitzes (eg Winfield strip sack).

Hurtt: Super soft zone do not disrupt the WRs at all, no tight coverage, no pass rush, not even trying to blitz Stafford.

The several times the Bucs played super soft zone Jefferson and Addison burned them bad. Bowles came to his senses and made adjustments at half time.

Hurtt made no adjustments even in the 2nd half. When Nacua looks just as good as an elite WR like Jefferson that is a bad, bad sign.

Rams came into Seattle and ****** the Seahawks wives in front of them and did nothing to stop it.

The interior line play and middle of the defense was absolutely gawd awful trash.

I don’t understand why we don’t go for broke on defense? We give up huge plays. 3rd down is like a guaranteed 1st down. Might as well send the house?

Are we trying to give the offense rest?
