I know there is a few threads on this already. So basically if the falcons win tomorrow we are out of playoffs this year because they have to lose the last 2 and we have to win out to get in.

Same applies to the Saints, Panthers and Rams too.

Any of those teams (plus the Falcons as you mention) lose 2 games, plus the Lions lose one and we’re in.

Now that the Falcons lost and the Panthers won, we just need the Panthers to beat the Falcons next week. It all hinges on that one game (plus us winning out). Even though the Panthers just clinched the playoffs, they are still in the hunt for their division, so they have much to play for.

I believe now we need:

Us to win today and next week, and the falcons to lose next week.

That puts us at 12.5%

U really think TB is gonna beat the saints?

Panthers can just rest their players.

Doesn't matter if TB beats the Saints.

We need Carolina to win, who are fighting for the division. They'll show up.

Don't think you understand what I mean.

Panthers are already in the playoffs.
Panthers needs to win and Saints needs to lose for Panthers to get the 3rd seed.

But there's no way TB gonna beat the Saints, so Panthers prlly resting.

Seahawks need Carolina to beat Atlanta on Dec. 31, starting at 10 a.m. PST.

Carolina can win the NFC South with a win over Atlanta and a New Orleans loss.

Go Hawks! And go Panthers for this game.

Tampa put up a fight to Carolina, so not sure why you say.

Panthers will rest their starters and Falcons will win and Seahawks will miss the playoffs. Maybe missing the playoffs will force some major changes in house. Maybe new OC, DC and Cable gone?

I don't think they will rest their starters. Carolina win + New Orleans loss = Carolina wins division.
