My thoughts are Seattle vs Rams and WFT vs Bucs
Bucs go to GB, Hawks come to NO
Bucs upset GB? Hawks Saints is 50/50 depending on what Saints team shows up.

IF GB gets the #1 seed, they will play the lowest seeded winner of wild card weekend.

That will probably be the Bucs.

Let's hope GB loses to the Bears next week. If they do that and Seattle wins we won't have to go to Lambeau no matter what.

There is so much riding on that CHI/GB game. GB needs the win for #1 seed. The Bears need to win just to make the playoffs, though there's an outside chance they can make it while losing. They would need a QB-less Rams team to beat the Cards. If the Bears win, the loser of the Cards/Rams game misses the playoffs.

Obviously it's huge for the Seahawks, too. If Chicago and Seattle both win, the Seahawks get no worse than the #2 seed, with a chance at the #1 seed in the unlikely event of a Saints loss to the Panthers. The #2 seed is a big deal, because it means two home games and like you said, no chance to go to GB. Going to a quiet dome in New Orleans doesn't seem so daunting, at least compared to playing in the snow in Wisconsin.

I have GB beating Chicago
Seahawks beating Niners
Cards beating Rams
Saints beating Panthers.

1 seed GB sees TB who beats WFT
NO beats LA, then hosts the Seahawks

GB hosts the championship game, and wins.

Packers get destroyed in the SB by the much better balanced Chiefs

The scenario you present IS the most likely and that is why it probably won't happen.

So true. The "official scenario" does happen every now and then, so there's always a chance. Most years, something unforeseen happens, a paper underdog comes in with a rock-solid brilliant game plan and knocks off a scissors favorite, etc. Joe Flacco's bomb to force overtime for the Ravens to win in Denver and go to the Super Bowl comes to mind. Also, the 9-7 Giants who won the Owl in a huge upset over the undefeated Patriots.

More "official" scenario's blowing up:

1990: SF was destined for the 3 peat, until they got upset by the Giants in the conference title game
1995: For the first time in 4 years, SF doesn't play Dallas in the conference title game, SF upset by GB in the divisional
1998: The two titans of the regular season: Denver and MN don't meet in the SB, MN upset in the championship game by Atlanta
2007: two very stout 13-3 teams (Packers and Cowboys) get upset by the Giants in the playoffs
2011: Vaunted 15-1 Packers go one and done and are upset by the Giants in the divisional
2017: Philly goes on a magical run with their backup QB and beat the Pats in the SB

Nice list! Those 2011 & 2007 Giants team, IIRC, defeated playoff opponents with more wins than any other team in history. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

2011 Giants - 54 opponent (regular season) wins
2007 Giants - 51 opponent wins

The Giants were a 10-6 wild card team the year they upset the undefeated Patriots. They were a 9-7 division winner the year they upset the 13-3 Patriots.
