Would be nice to see some new blood this year on the PS. Not the same old guys every year like the Kenny Lawler types that you know will never make it. I wonder if Darboh goes to the PS?

There are probably a number of sites on the subject of new blood prospects. This is an interesting example here >>> [urltargetblank]https://www.fieldgulls.com/2018/9/1/17809820/seattle-seahawks-practice-squad-candidates-from-across-the-nfl-roster-cuts[/urltargetblank]

I don't know why they didn't elect to move him to IR. I mean what the heck is Austin Davis' IR designation all about? He looked completely healthy Thursday night. Is there a limit of how many guys teams can have on IR, before the season starts? I think the Chargers had double digits guys on IR last season.

I'd really like to see McGough clear waivers and end up on the PS. I like what I've seen from him. I definitely think there's something to be said about being able to develop QBs. It seems like a lost art.

The only limit to the number of players on IR is the fact that their entire salary cap figure counts against the team's salary cap. Sometimes rookies have a contract clause where he is paid half his salary if he is placed on IR, so there is incentive to keep injured rookies over more expensive vets.

I expect that Darboh, Alex, Keenen, Stringfellow, Roos, and a few of the DB's will be on it. Plus I bet they pick up some cut players from other teams. Maybe 2 or 3. Probably not a whole lot of defensive lineman since we carried a lot on the 53.

I remember seeing Austin Davis come up limping late in his appearance on Thursday. Maybe that’s why he is IRd. The question I have is why is Malik McDowell on there? I thought he was released.

MM was waived and nobody claimed him so his rights reverted back to us
if he should ever play.
We just stashed him on PUP/NFI just in case..He has been paid already before
all this.

I'm in on Natrell Jamerson as a safety prospect. He isn't ready yet, but he has legit speed and a good head on his shoulders.

Saints were trying him at corner. I think he can be better at free. If we can stash him on the PS and teach him the system... who knows? Seattle showed interest pre-draft. I'm praying for this one.

I'd like to see a safety project add that can also move well underneath in traffic.

Waiver claims are now being made fast and furious .... [tweet]https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1036298281591218176[/tweet][tweet]https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1036295465128452096[/tweet]

Someone had predicted Darboh to the Pats the other day.

I think Pete held him out on purpose to not have anything on tape to improve PS chances. Not really a big deal either way, he simply hasn’t been good here, but now we can expect him to have an Alex Collins type meteoric rise haha.

Jordan Simmons is 6'-3" 330+lb former Trojan. I guess size matters.

Two cuts now need to be made to the active roster.

So, The bills have cut Jon Ryan.

Crazy thought but would it even be possible?

I don’t know the rules involved with the PS.

I’m grasping at straws because I like Jon so much.
