Great pick! We're off to a good start by filling the single biggest hole impeding our offense. Now we can have some fun finding some guys who will provide excitement around the field. But it sure was hard watching all those picks ahead of us getting guys I hoped we had a shot at...

Well the four realistic choice of players I liked more were all off the board when we picked. I can’t complain for drafting an IOL

Predicted to us and they took him. JS finally just took a really good IOL early. Guy was a MONSTER at the senior bowl inside. This team desperately needed to build up the OL, happy with this. He could have easily gone and started at a power 5 conference but wanted to stay with his team.

No real complaints other than we might have been able to trade down a bit if that was our target.
His stock was all over the place lately; it was hard to get a real handle on where he could go. If they really wanted him, they were right to not risk losing him on the trade down. I personally was getting the impression he was slipping, but other places were saying he could go as high as the fringes of the top 10. Who knows? Just takes one team.

Does he have any nicknames? His name is unique enough to not need one, but also unique enough where people have probably made many for him. As a recovering alcoholic, it probably isn't good that "Grey Goose" immediately came to mind lol.
