To all those who think the sky is falling. Is kellen klemens really going to be the one who beats us when we have everything on the line?

Rams 10
13-2

He doesn't have to. That front 7 and Zac Stacy on the other hand. It's not as though Palmer beat us. Contrary to popular belief in the NFL world these days the other 52 men on the team contribute as well and in fact can make up for a 4 INT game by their QB.

Rams 20 Seahawks 17

Three weeks the offense has set a pattern and I'm losing my confidence not in the players but in the game plan. I hold out hope that Carroll, Bevell, and the team got cooky and figured they could lock up HFA while running simple game plan. However, that is foolish in its own right so not sure I like that scenario either. Hawks are more than capable and have the upper hand as long as they don't run, run, deep, punt most the game.
Stacy ran all over us and our offense got dominated in STL and we gave up 9 points. I have a hard time believing they'll put up 20 in Clink, something only TB has done

STL is 30th in the league in Y/A against so if we can't pass on them we really have a huge problem, run defense is good.
Clemens is also 29th in the league in QBR BTW.
Also are we really going to lose back to back home games after not losing one in 2 years? I find it really hard to believe

I th ink it'll be a close game, and hate to make this prediction, but think Seattle doesn't lose at home with so much on the line. Rams are a good, young up and coming team, but not there yet. Give them a year...

Agree with Shadow...

Hawks: 24
Rams: 17

With Long being out that means we double Quinn and fool the linebackers the SS with play action.

It's their offensive tackle, JAKE Long that's out, NOT ther defensive end CHRIS long (son of Howie) folks. Both their DEs, Quinn and CHRIS Long are healthy and will play.

The entire city's going to be put on suicide watch if this happens. Has there ever been a team that's lost back to back home games when they've been 10+ point favorites?

I'm not confident about this game. The Rams have had our number the last 3 times we have played them. They beat us once, and we barely beat them twice.

But I am hoping the Hawks come to play. If they can't get up for this game, they don't deserve the #1 seed.

Clemens will throw less than Palmer this week. I imagine they will run it 30+ times. I hope we sell out on defense to stop the run and let our secondary man up one on one. Clemens does not take many shots and across the board I would say our secondary is better than their wide receivers.

Rams are very beatable in the middle of the field. In the first game they completely dominated the line of scrimmage and we did nothing to beat what they were giving us. Here's to praying Bevell looks for some quick/intermediate over the middle plays instead of deep pass/run, 100% run, 3rd and long deep pass down the sideline, punt.

If we play to their weaknesses on offense: Hawks 35 - Rams 12
If we continue to be predictable, vanilla, and force the running game when it isn't working: Hawks 10 - Rams 9

Since Jeff Fisher has taken over the Rams, the Hawks have not scored over 20 points against them.

This is going to be a low scoring grudge match.

Seahawks have not scored more than 20 points against the Rams since Fisher took over scoring only 47 points (as opposed to 41 points for the Rams). I do believe the Seahawks will win, but not dominate like some of the scores presented here.

OK, here goes with the prediction. I have struggle all week with how I thought this game would play out. One thing I do know, if I were in Vegas I'd take the Lambs and the 10 in a heartbeat. Yes, I know that's what the casinos want, but the history between these two teams the last two years says this will be a very close game. So with that......

1. I worry a LOT about the coaching matchup. I have seen Jeff Fisher outcoach Pete/Bevell the last couple of times the 2 teams have played. The most disturbing of those games was the last one in St. L when Seattle had 11 days to prepare for the Rams and laid a HUGE egg as their defensive game plan ate our team alive.

2. I don't like the offense matching up with their D even if the game plan is better. The Hawks o-line is below average and as we saw last week, last matchup vs. St. L and pretty much the last two years what happens when our O goes against a very good D-line. That said, the game plan MUST be better to offset Seattle's o-line deficiencies, whatever those plays are (screens, slants, ZR, what the hell ever!!).

3. I think it's very unlikely Russ plays as poorly as last week which certainly was one of his worst performance as a pro. That's encouraging.

4. I think it unlikely they move the ball against the Hawks' D unless Seattle lets Stacy run on them like last time. I find that very unlikely because I'm guessing "gap integrity" has been mentioned like 1000 times in defensive meetings/game planning this week.

All that said, I don't see Seattle scoring much because I think the poor play of the o-line has finally caught up with this team. When teams have the personnel to negate RW's scrambling, this offense is sunk. And that's particularly true when the run game is struggling as it has the last several weeks. I believe this will be the undoing of the team in the playoffs (Carolina or even worse and God forbid, the Whiners) and we will see a game like last week where the D plays lights out but the O struggles so badly that the Hawks lose a game they probably should've won. Despite all of that, I don't think the Rams are good enough offensively to be one of those teams....the Cards weren't either but the difference will be a better game out of Russ and the Hawks scrape out a win.

Hawks 13
Lambs 9

To date: same as the Hawks record cuz I haven't predicted a loss all year (though it was VERY close this week)

Hold me I'm scared!

I hate the way the Rams play football. Their entire game plan is to just ugly up the game as much as possible with chirping, after play nonsense pushing and shoving in order to get teams off their rhythm and focus.

Unfortunately this has worked against the Hawks. We like being the Alpha dog, so when another team tries to push us around, we forget to stay even and focused (like we did last week).

The wind got knocked out of me last week, and I see a low scoring defensive affair again this week. I think Seattle is able to hang on, however.
