Is it me or when you Christened a new building it is suppose to be done with a win, doesn't matter if it's pre season. I know the argument will be it doesn't matter until games are real, but like a ship being christened at launch you don't want it to sink, which has happened by the way. You only get one opening day game at a stadium.

Chris didn't make that stipulation in his post. First game in Levi stadium is a win vs Seattle. Good enough for me.

If we lose to Dallas or start the first 4 games 1-3 I will be worried. I can see us going 3-1 or 2-2 also.

I have a feeling we will lose to the Eagles. If Bears defense is better they could be a challenge. With the Def loses in Arizona as long as Roman doesn't get cute I think we will be OK.

I guess you have to grasp at any straws, didn't realize that it was the Quakes Stadium and they were the main tenant, I guess Santa Clara is planning on Soccer growing in popularity in that area to build a 70,000 seat stadium for them. The 49ers being the fill in tenant pay them how much to use their facility? Being the second best team to use the stadium I'm sure at some point the revenue splits will have to be discussed and sections covered to appear that the venue is sold out for 49er games.

I agree the 49ers may have some depth issues right now but Dallas is 4-12 team by the end of the year if that. They really are a trainwreck.
