Patience. Teams that "Win Free Agency" never go anywhere.

Remember the Philadelphia "Dream Team?"

How about last years Browns?
Didn't the Redskins win it like every year for 5 or so years in a row?

Every year I see the same thing on these boards, people all up in arms cuz the Hawks "AREN'T DOING ANYTHING!!". Relax folks. There will be a couple of signings. PCJS don't overspend on the first wave.

No need to give up draft capital for Jones and Brockers since they were free agents but maybe you'd still like to do that i guess. Outside of the Hopkins deal the other trades were won by the sellers. Stay calm and let JS work his magic. Also notice the most of the money spent today was by teams that suck and that's usually the case earlier in free agency.

Easy to come to with excuses to do nothing while we loose players to other teams. Hopkins would have made our offense that much better and a 2nd for a top 3 we. As to the rest heat at excuses were are you ideas on were and how we get better. And fyi all those players I listed played better than most everyone we had.

Excuses? That would be failure. No indication that the team went in for any of these.

There are dozens of players thst make the Seahawks better.. getting the right ones at costs that make sense is how you build teams.

Reed resigned.. for less than Campbell.

Unless it's Madden.. but it's not

If its September and the roster is shambles, then I agree with the anxiety.

Bit early though

We won free agency in 2013 when we signed Avril and Bennett for cheap. That year turned out pretty good.
Near as I could tell all the desirable rushers were either tagged of signed today, except Clowney and the 2 that you mention. The way it's shaking out we either trust our fortunes to whoever we can draft, pay Clowney his price, and/or bring those guys back and do the best we can.

No anxiety at all, but a missed out on a lit of players that could make us better which is the goal. So far not better. CARDINALS got better.

I'd be worried when they miss out on players they're trying for.

So wait because we supposedly won the 2013 FA we should be good. Something that happened 7 years ago and not repeated since is what we should be happy about? wow so in the 9 years under PC we do well in FA once and that is something to look forward to. My how we have fallen.

I read his comment as winning the FA can be a good thing for teams

It's very early and the main piece of our 2020 FA Clowney is still in play.

So far what has NE done, or KC?

Often the best FA deals are the ones you don't make.

Who knows what deals are close or they just missed on?

Name the last Super Bowl winner that pulled in a big name Free Agent (Top 5) that year?

2019 KC - Nope
2018 NE - Nope
2017 PHI - Nope
2016 NE - Nope
2015 DEN - Nope
2014 NE - Nope
You can keep going but you can't really buy a Super Bowl. many of these top flight Free Agenet end up never living up to the expectations and become a detriment to their team.
