You're not "achieving" anything. Seriously. The trolling language you come at these posts with is overtly condescending and self-aggrandizing. I like it better when you're just having a straight go at people.
Trolling? The trolling comments are coming from Hawk "fans". Green Bay fans have been defending our team, city, stadium and offering help to those that request it when they come over for a game. Ptisme had nothing derogatory to say until he was insulted. He gave you places to stay, things to do and tours to take and an invite to stay into tents for free beer and brats.
I'm sorry if you feel offended or inferior when comparing our organizations. You can always rub the "Fail Mary" into our faces whenever you need something to gloat about. Is that the legacy you want opposing fans to remember your football team for?
You're donating $250 to the team for a certificate. Packer fans get nothing from it (except said certificate).
They have no operational say. Their stock is not an investment. Their stock does not move them up or down the list for tickets. Their stock can never be sold (because its not really stock). And if the team ever is sold, they get nothing from it.
It's a fan promotion. Cool if you're into it. I have nothing against it. Its special to the Packers (no other NFL team can do it anymore).
Yep, it's a certificate that hangs on the wall that says we are part owners of the Green Bay Packers. We get no money, we get no dividends, we can't sell it or trade it and it is essentially worthless for selling back to Green Bay. But it hangs on the wall and we are shareholders that can actually attend meetings in Green Bay and we get to see where the money goes and how much was raised and we can even get up and speak and ask questions.
We are donating to the Packer organization for things that make our team and/or community stronger. It's our way of making the smallest city owned Professional Football team the very best we can. It's an ideal nonprofit model that keeps ticket prices down and season tickets passed down through generations.
It is about the coolest Stock I have ever bought and it hangs framed on my wall. I look at it with pride every single day I work from my home office.
