Maybe you have taken on the personality of this team: "Every game is championship opportunity", "Act like you've been there before", "Go 1-0 this week", "Treating it as just another game"BlueTalon":uhb60aln said:I remember that feeling of euphoria starting from the middle of the 3rd quarter against the Panthers eight years ago. I rode that high for two full weeks. This year? I'm not feeling it.
Obviously, it's not because I'm not happy we're in the Big Dance. I'm happy and thrilled. Honestly! I'm with HawkFan72, reading all the articles and watching all the videos, and enjoying them a lot. But no feelings of euphoria.
It's also not because it hasn't sunk in yet.
So why no high? I'm not entirely sure. But I think it's because on a lot of levels, I knew we were going to be here, and fully expected we were going to be here. So this is just the way it's supposed to be.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it will hit me in a few days. Maybe when I start seeing interviews of our guys in New Jersey, maybe it will suddenly overwhelm me. I don't know. I kinda expect to start feeling it the night before kickoff.
One thing is certain, I am not going to try to create that feeling in me. This inner calm has worked for me this whole season. And just in case it has worked for the team also (like the Bud Light ice skating music), I'm not changing a thing.

I'm kinda with ya. I'm still jacked of course, but nothing will ever quite be like the first time.BlueTalon":1rhc4syu said:I remember that feeling of euphoria starting from the middle of the 3rd quarter against the Panthers eight years ago.
