Two huge Beastquake runs and no one else has any? Literally he has the two best runs of all time. He could get it on yards after contact. And his hard style of play.

Odd how the greatest run in playoff history, Beastquake, looks just like the now greatest run in primetime in NFL history and was authored by the same guy.

I remember reading this same question before the season started and laughed. I didn't think he had a shot; however, as the season plays out i'm starting to change my tune. If we win the Superbowl this year or next (assuming he doesn't leave) and he has 2 more Marshawn seasons 1200 yards 12 tds. He would finish his career top 20 in rushing yards, top 10 in touchdowns, and be one of three RBs with 2 Superbowl rings in the top 20... Only 6 RB's in the top 20 are not in the HoF. 3 of which aren't eligible yet.

If the Hawks win it all again this year he has real case. If he is able to stay on the team next year and they win it again he is a shoe in as long as he is a productive member of that team.

Personally, I think he needs to play a few more years and up his yardage and TD's before he would ever be considered by the media given his past with them.

Having said that, I still wonder why there is a thread on this at least once every week or two discussing it? You can't get in the HOF till your out of football anyway, yet people can't seem to let it happen instead of constantly worrying about what comes way down the road.

Lets worry about whether the team retains him or not, and whether he retires a Seahawk (as he should), or not.
