I'm just happy that HBO is getting a Klitschko fight. Nice to see a heavyweight title bout and not have to spend fat $$$ to get it. Hopefully boxing is figuring out that to compete with MMA you need some quality matches that aren't %^&*ing PPV!
That was the most boring heavyweight bout I've ever seen.

Boxing doesn't have to compete with MMA. Just sit back and watch MMA fade into the distance.

Go Money.

Best value I found was 16/1 Mayweather winning by ko/tko. Not that he's a knockout specialist by any stretch, but he is significantly better than his opponent so I think there is the possibility for him to end it early.

If I believed at all that karma was a real and quantifiable thing I'd have Mayweather losing because he is a rotten person with a history of domestic violence. But my eyes and wallet are telling me Floyd.

Best value is Mayweather by decision.

People calling Manny old? They're basically the same age. Manny doesn't run from real fights either. Floyd has found every excuse for years no to fight him. Now he has to or his legacy will be tarnished. He's a coward.

I was playing GTA 5 online and this dude was addiment that Pac was ducking Mayweather. At first we thought he was joking but he was getting mad people always laugh at him.

Dude, you got that right! :| What a bore--rushed home doing 80 from Central WA so I could be reminded why no one cares about the Heavyweight division anymore...

Manny has to stay incredibly busy, like the old days. If he does that, Floyd is too methodical to keep up. If Manny lets Floyd set the pace and play his counter game, Manny is going to be eating straights all night. I think the styles strongly favor Pacquiao, but Mayweather is a much smarter boxer. Manny has to try to turn it into a brawl, Floyd has to keep it on the tracks. Whoever is able to dictate the pace wins this fight. IF Manny still has the handspeed and stamina to throw in flurries for a full fight, I don't think this fight can go the distance.

Here's the problem though, and it's the MAIN problem with boxing.............there's no unified boxing commission or federation to make sure everything's on the up and up.

The only way Mayweather agreed to fight in the first place is because he's basically dictating every aspect of the fight. He get's the most money, he got to pick the ref, he dictated the terms of the drug testing. Mayweather wanted Kenny Bayless to ref because he's one of the most hands on refs out there that doesn't allow the boxers to go at each other too hard, he'll break it up..................which plays right into Mayweather's boring ass methodical dance around never getting into a brawl using his reach to just jab and score points.

Mayweather's a piece of crap, so I'm hoping to hell Pacquiao knocks him the F out. But that's not what I think will happen, I think Mayweather's gonna take it the length and win on points..............of course setting up a rematch in a year for even more money.

Clearly the financial benefit would be greatest if Pacquiao wins the first fight, so I fully anticipate this will happen.

True, or a VERY controversial win by decision out of either fighter.

The rematch would be even more hyped if either fighter had public sympathy due to some perceived bad decision.

LAS VEGAS — Like you needed another excuse to watch what many are dubbing “The Fight of the Century.”

According to the SportingNews.com, Floyd Mayweather recently levied a complaint over the size of Manny Pacquiao’s protective cup.

That’s right. His protective cup.

Mayweather was allegedly worried that Pacquiao’s cup is too big and sits too high, SportingNews reports, leading him to complain to the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The commission investigated Pacquiao’s cup, and the commissioner marked and signed the piece to make sure it’s the one Pacquiao’s wearing on fight night.

It's the event of it all, I don't think 90% of the people who ordered or are going to a bar, casino, etc care about boxing. They just want an excuse to party.

I disagree on many levels. I'm guessing you have never seen any of the Pacquiao-Marquez fights.
