To me, CB is a direct need in a BIG way. Also our best SAM (Irvin) left in FA last year. I believe we saw how valuable he was at setting the edge.

Tired of talking OL. Every stinking year even way before Pete got here.

There are lots of mobile QBs in this draft; I'm sure everybody will have their favorites after the combine.

Chad Kelly is an interesting option for a couple of reasons, namely that he's coming off a knee injury and had off the field issues that got him kicked out of Clemson. As a result, he could be available at a later round than his talent would otherwise indicate. He apparently has a great arm, good mobility, and a strong work ethic.

I'm sure most rational people thought entering last season that the offensive line would be a major source of concern. They were all inexperienced in multiple ways; inexperienced against NFL talent, inexperienced at the position they were playing, and/or inexperienced at playing alongside the guys next to them. Simply throwing more rookies into the mix this off-season is not a magical panacea. The key factor is going to be coaching and development regardless of the personnel, and they'll be as far from "ignored" as it is possible to be.

I think our corners get infinitely better with a better pass rush. Even Sherm looked shaky when qbs had all day to throw, consistent pressure. I'd like to see it in a big dt who can break down a qbs pocket so our speed guys can get home a little easier. Draft some young corners who can come in and compete. Tackles are a given, I don't even need to touch on that and a big durable rb would be nice as well. Lots on the wish list there

Really? Doe Snot?

Dude, contribute something that conforms to the thread (in this case, to make the Seahawks better) instead of trying to be contrite and making yourself look like a fool, unless your goal is that.

An argument can be made that we need about everything outside of QB.

Our most pressing needs though IMO:
- Right tackle
- Swiss army knife type OL (in case Fant doesn't work and as injury protection)
- Corner oppo Sherman
- Wide receiver
- Interior DL depth
- Depth at safety (ideally an heir apparent to Earl or Kam)
- Depth at slot corner
- Vet QB to push Boykin?
- Specialists (Would need a kicker if Hauschka walks, I think entertaining a new punter and LS is a good idea too)

Keep giving him a free pass....[/quote]

Brady missed throws in the SB. You don't see Pats fans clamoring to give him some comp.

Let's get real here, Russell Wilson isn't getting pushed in training camp.

First priority must be to shore up the offensive line and blocking scheme
If needed, trade for Joe Thomas to anchor the left side for a few years while we train up Fant
Running the ball must again become a more balanced part of the overall scheme
Environment of distrust between players and certain coaches must be addressed and put to bed

Bring in more depth at CB and safety, and give current crop of guys a chance to step up
Engage with the team leaders to ferret out anything holding back team cohesiveness
Vet all possible trade options for securing a disruptor for the interior of the D line
Engender a combined spirit of competiveness and fun again
Learn from the attitude and approach of the Patriots and apply it to how we prepare
Let go of any coach who isn’t willing to honestly evaluate and adjust his style to help the team win

Wouldnt mind switching this guys Jersey to match ours

Kawann short russell wilson

I know Carolina will probably resign him and more of a pipe dream but adding short to our DL and then adding OL and maybe a CB...A man can dream

Great post I agree, fixing the oline must be #1, having some type of run game would help, I think CB is a yes but also think we need an interior d lineman that can also get to the QB.

RW is never going to be the QB that brings home a trophy with a 60% pass first offense even with a high profile OL. You're flat out cattle brained if you think that's going to happen. I'd honestly prefer he take about a 15% pay cut, but that's not going to happen.

We need to get back to focusing on the run game and defense.

An explosive 3 tech would do wonders for this defense, but we also need to upgrade our pass rush at RE. Marsh just doesn't get home enough there. However, if you upgrade 3 tech you can keep Clark on the outside and effectively kill 2 birds with one stone. Marsh's future is likely as a strong side backer more than a DE. The other thing about how we play base downs that kind of screws us up is that we go with our two bigs at DT on base downs and lends to almost no interior pass rush for two of three downs. We really need to do something there.

CB could use an upgrade. Lane isn't anywhere near the same player he was, for whatever reason, and Shead won't even be available early on and will likely be a step slow even when he does come back. I probably don't need to say much more there. It's all up in the air at this point.

RB even with a healthy Rawls is a concern. Rawls is a back that can really take advantage of creases that are given to him by OL, but he's just not a back that can create on his own when things break down. Prosise might be that back, but he can play more than 20 snaps, sort of like Rawls, before heading to the ice tub. Collins isn't really worth mentioning beyond depth. Go big or go home on this one and draft a special athlete. I don't care if we need to trade up.

OL could obviously use some fresh meat for the grinder. That doesn't mean that they'll start, but we need to get better there. However, as I've stated many times, your pass protection always looks better as a byproduct of RUNNING THE DAMN BALL. That 60% pass first offense makes me sick.

Yeah, I think they franchise tag him. But we can all dream.

Address OL - Please either FA or draft and keep them in the slots they played in college, no more basketball players, no more converted DT's,

Address DL, pressure guys up the middle

Address the SAM position

Guy I want the most in the draft isn't even a position of extreme need is Cooper Kupp. He would immediately help our passing attack.
