He must have one hell of an offensive coordinator.

For sure. You know how hard it is to draw up plays where the routes are so elementary and there is zero misdirection that defenses easily shut it down. Then on top of that to orchestrate the 7 figure 8's Russ runs in the backfield while the receivers play "get open"( but of course that is just what it appears, Bev obviously draws up these crazy run around random routes). Pure genius to suck so bad at your job that it forces Russ and the rest of the offense to have to invent a strategy on the fly, every set of downs, in every game.

Maybe you meant to say "an offensive coordinator straight from hell" instead of "one hell of an offensive coordinator". Has to be it.

Routes? Bevell has transcended "routes." And "protection." He's so far beyond the contemporary notion of an offense that our primitive minds can't recognize the genius of his anti-offense, his apparent un-offense. In a hundred years, though, he'll be remembered as a pioneer. See, everyone expects the coordinator to coordinate, but Bevell has taken misdirection to its logical end. Defenses can't know what your offense will do when even you don't know what your offense will do. His inverted schemes will be as revolutionary as the forward pass.

Game manager.

In January.

Wilson has won playoff games in January every year since his rookie season. He is also 2-0 in January during the regular season. January is actually his best statistical month during the regular season with a 108.7 QB rating.

Overall, Wilson is 9-3 in January games, including two NFC Championships and four game-winning drives. He has completed 215/350 passes for 2,779 yards, 20 TDs, and 9 INTs, plus two rushing TDs on 60 rushes for 354 yards (5.90 y/c).

Wilson is actually 5th all-time in most game-winning drives in the playoffs (since 1960). And he is by far the youngest QB on this list. Wilson is two more playoff game-winning drives away from tying John Elway for 2nd most in NFL history:

Russ won't ever buy over certain ppl. Score 30? Should of scored 35. Threw 3tds? Better have thrown 4. I never have got ppl who dislike players from their own team. You can have discussions on where they struggle or what's wrong but to generally dislike a player? Nah.

Good point, blatant refusal to accept the guy, still. Oh well, it is what it is. He still can get even better.
