Tate was not worth 6 fricken million dollars. No way in hell should the Hawks have matched that.
He made his choice, he can enjoy watching the playoffs on tv.

This. It was a smart decision for the Seahawks, and it was a smart decision for Tate's bank account. He's an emotional guy, and while he may feel slighted now, he'll get over it. I bet we'll see plenty of him in Seattle once his career is over and all will be forgiven.
