The Seahawks SILVER helmets have been shiny for much if not all of our history until the blue helmet era.

Fair point, but my point still stands; and the eye on the actual source material looks significantly better than the one on the Seahawks logo. It's like a 49ers troll was secretly the person who designed it back in the day.
