He's right. In today's salary cap/free agency league, it's extremely difficult to repeat. That being said, what the hell does he have against the hawks that he constantly has to write negative about them. What's the angle?

Pete won't succeed in the NFL .... Wrong
Russell won't succeed in the NFL .... Wrong
Russell won't win a playoff game .... Wrong
Russell will have the hardest time this season .... Wrong
Denver is destined to beat the seahawks .... Wrong
Seattle won't repeat .... TBD (but I like the pattern)

Not surprised considering the source. Though the odds are with him this time at least.

As you can see, he just keeps writing this same piece until, finally, he gets proven right. Then he can say "I told you so."

Like a broken clock sorta works... in that it tells the correct time twice every day?

Yep!

I noticed that all of Chadiha's articles have the comments disabled. When he wrote about Seattle's "pedestrian receivers", I wanted to leave a comment, but couldn't. So I tweeted "@jeffrichadiha Pedestrian receivers? You are so full of shit."

Brevity is the soul of twit.

I guess he is trying to be helpful (snicker). But he could have just sent an inter-office memo to his colleagues, since they were the majority of writers/commentators talking about a dynasty. Sure, fans may say it or think it but the people voicing the idea usually work for his company.

This reminds me of the huge number of columnist and media personalities wailing about the refereeing in *XL, then turn around and state that Seahawks fans were the only ones complaining.

It's all fun and games. Chadiha is still getting paid plus I am sure he is getting the hits he desired to make this month's quota at ESPN.

The Seahawks should drop the Shack to Kobe rap line on him to sum up my thoughts on the matter.

The good thing is since he is so wrong on his analysis then we should easily repeat as Super Bowl champs! Thank you sir!

Nothing Chudiha said is incorrect.

We did lose some key free agents and depth, so if we have a hard time replacing those guys we will struggle to repeat. But I know, I know.............we must remain true to our righteous indignation at anyone that criticizes our beloved Hawks!

If this was his very first article you might have a point. But he has criticized the Seahawks non-stop over the years and made terrible predictions against us time after time. The title might as well have been "I hate Seattle and hope they never win a title in any sport ever again". His hate never stops.

There really needs to be a thread with naysayers (national news type) links. Something we could look back on as the season progresses. Haters.

You mean like this article praising Harvin?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2013/st ... owl-xlviii

Or this article praising Earle?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2013/st ... on-manning

Or this article praising Pete?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10205 ... ular-coach

Or this article praising Lynch?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/96637 ... -direction

Or this article praising the entire defense?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/96139 ... ood-ignore

Chudiha is an editorial writer, that means he's paid to have an opinion. As long as he backs up his opinions with some facts, I'm just fine with writers making critical comments about the Hawks........or any team. Does it mean he's right? No, just means that's his opinion. So for all you guys to constantly get butthurt over every little criticism written is annoying.

Praising Pete? I'd love to see that article. He spent an entire article bashing him. The Percy Harvin article also spent a little time ripping our other WRs as "pedestrian". The only really positive articles out of the 4 you linked are the last 2.

Huh?

Did you read the article?

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10205 ... ular-coach

He writes about a recent survey of players stating that Carroll is about as perfect of a coach as there is now in the NFL when it comes to what players want. He LITERALLY could not be more glowing towards Pete.
