You guys convinced I need to make some sort of an Atomic Turd. It just sounds like something I need to do....So

I got a grip of large jalapenos and maybe 6 Anaheim chilies. I also got sweet Italian sausage, Pepper jack string cheese and mozzarella. Gonna stuff all those peppers with said ingredients (maybe add a little cream cheese) and wrap them in bacon. I will then brush on honey to the outside of the bacon.......Plus ribs......whew

Is it just me, or does anyone get too worked up during the game to eat (especially if it's close!)
I get so much adrenaline pumping I almost spew! Sorry to talk about that in a food thread. Lol
I'm right there with ya....usually takes a couple 3 hours to drain away....

Was just going to do gin and tonics, PC strut with monocle and top hat style.... But y'all got me thinking about those stuffed jalapeños now.... And maybe some habanero apricot wings...

My thoughts exactly. I may be too wound up to eat, which is saying something for me. And what I don't eat is at serious risk of flying across the room if we are not up 49-0 at the half.

Smoking a pork roast, some home made mac N cheese, salad and sheepherders bread made in a Dutch oven.

Between the two of you guys, I added homemade baked mac-n-cheese and also cornbread to my spread. I've been craving some really good mac n cheese for a while. Also think I'm going to borrow the blue-and-green jello shots idea too.

To Whomever bumped this, thanks. A friend of mine is doing DUCK and he did it well a while back. great tasting and worthy. But I am heading to a local somewhere in the mountains. I need to get out of the house and clear some things out of my mind. I am kinda going semi-Blitzer at the moment. But me and the mountains are brothers and sisters. So we will be at peace with whatever the outcome of the game......I have planned on pizza and beers....and whiskey. Crown btw. Go hawks.

Prime waygu roast. Wings. Some Quilceda creek 97 can and hopefully, some celebratory 89 Krug from magnum. Being that I have save money by not flying to AZ.

I was wondering why people were saying they were going to eat Bronco meat. Then I saw the thread was bumped from last year.

The full menu, +/- ambition and how much help the GF gives me, assuming she doesn't get called into work:

* Spinach-artichoke dip, with sliced french bread baguette pieces and tortilla chips as dipping options
(based on an adaptation of this recipe: http://damndelicious.net/2014/02/12/slo ... choke-dip/ I use about half the amount of artichokes and use fresh spinach)
* New England clam chowder (GF is making this, based on this recipe: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2012/03 ... ooker.html)
* Rice cooker sausage jambalaya (Based on this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/rice-cooke ... ish-tails/ I use 1lb sliced smoked sausage or kielbasa in it instead of crawfish. I also use brown rice. Toss stuff in, press the brown rice button, forget it, then enjoy in 45 minutes. My college age daughter asked me for the recipe after I made this for her friends)
* Homemade Baked Mac N Cheese (recipe TBD)
* Cornbread (with honey butter available)
* Brownies
* Chocolate chip cookies, fresh baked

On the drinks side, soft drinks/mixers and whiskey, rum, and tequila to make different things with. Plus whatever beer attendees bring. Oh yeah, and the blue and green jello shots if GF is feeling healthy and ambitious.

A smorgasbord of stuff in the freezer. Pulled pork nachos ( leftovers frozen from the 2 Boston Butt pork shoulders I smoked the night before the packers game), steak chili I made about a month ago ( http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Boilermake ... sults_p1i2 ), and some white bean chicken chili I made about 3 months ago (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/white-bean ... etail.aspx ).

When I make something I double the recipe so we have leftovers and freeze half. Every one of these dishes when made resulted in a Hawks win this season, it's time to cash in. I'll let the nuker or crock pot do the work and get to watch the hoopla around the game.

I will NOT be making these again for a game -
http://blog.bbqaddicts.com/recipes/bacon-explosion/ - Sandi ego loss.
http://www.ohbiteit.com/2013/04/cheesy-bacon-bombs.html - KC loss.

I have tried that bacon bomb several times on the smoker, it looks cool but doesn't taste good no matter what you stuff it with or how long you smoke it.

The cheesey bacon bomb was Ok when it was warm but had zero taste after they cooled off.
