What time slot do you think we will get for Playoffs?

The league will do whatever it takes to get Dallas into prime time. That would mean the late game on Saturday.

Wrong. Sunday afternoon is where they put their best game

Seems to me that we usually see a Saturday game that first weekend.

The Hawks usually do, but the league's desire to get the Cowboys on the Sunday afternoon game trumps their desire to bury the Seahawks.

Not sure why you guys are scared of Cowboys and the refs. They lost a home playoff game in 2016.

To one of the only two teams that get more favorable officiating than the Cowboys. (Steelers and Packers, for those wondering.)

Like a couple others have already mentioned, the Sunday late afternoon game is the “money” slot of Wildcard weekend, not Saturday night when people are more likely to be doing other things. I’d be shocked if Dallas isn’t the Sunday late game.

Really hoping for a Sunday game. I will be on the golf course in Vegas on Saturday for 36 holes and have a conference starting on Sunday. Would much rather skip the conference to watch the game than golf.

I've already accepted that we are not just going to play Dallas. Oh man there are going to be some ridiculous home town calls in this game
LOL, the Refs will probably hit the NEUTRAL leaver when it comes to flagging the Cowboys, but to even things out, they'll likely have a yellow towel fest when they slam the harsh leaver on the Seahawks.

Pete best not let the Officials catch him chewing gum or smiling too much.
Nah, they'd never do anything like that...…………. :rumble:

Indy/ten at houston early Saturday (I'd be stunned if it isn't)
Seahawks at cowboys Sunday late (again stunned if otherwise)
Chargers Ravens Sunday morning
Vikings bears Saturday night

Can Fox lock in our game for the late Sunday slot. Either that or Sat night is a given if the matchup is Dallas. The game the AFC South teams hosts will get early Sat spot.

If these end up being the matchups, I agree with this. Only some crazy weather thing (example, if they were calling for heavy snow Sat eve in Chicago) would alter this schedule.

Also remember that ABC/ESPN gets one of the wildcard games now.

FOX - almost always Sunday late
CBS - almost always Sunday early, but flip-flop with NBC sometimes
ESPN - usually early Saturday. 2015 playoffs is when they first got a WC and it was a NFC game, been AFC ever since
NBC - usually Saturday late, but flip-flop with CBS sometimes

Def. a lot of differing opinions. Guess I should have made it a poll :irishdrinkers:
I still think it will be late Sat. That being said.........fully expect to be seeing them announce Sunday late game at the end of our WIN on Sunday. Why? Because that's the only time I hope we DON'T get

Against the Cowboys...the Saturday or Sunday Late game. I have to go to CES that Sunday so I booked the earliest flight which gets me there at 1030am...it better not be the early game on Sunday.

Seriously?

Did you miss my thread?

I’ve been looking for a head count.
Thought I might try to organize a “meet up”

Wish we could make that game. Would be a fun road trip. Been to a lot of road games, but never a playoff game. Well, except for Super Bowl 49 :)

Has anyone gotten confirmation on the day/time slot.

I’m still thinking late Sunday but it would be amazing if it ended up on Saturday night.

Wouldn’t cost me 24 hrs of PTO

I don't think they've ever released the time slots before the regular season ended...................networks want the best matchups in prime time, so highly doubt you'll know before Sunday night.

Pretty much what I expected but you never know when a “leak” may appear.

I’ve been known to stumble upon one from time to time.

Wink wink.
